Our Client's Experiences
We arrived in Komba Cabana from Nosy Be and the difference was night and day. Private pick up arranged and the warmest of welcomes straight off the boat, greeted by the family and the team with waves, music, tropical flower necklaces and big big smiles. The place has been immaculately blended into the jungle island paradise. Luxurious private villas, refined landscaping and a touch of their history at every turn. The hosts and their kids have created a haven of beauty with unimaginable effort that will last for a lifetime or 2 ……

Where to begin with reviewing this beautiful resort. We came here for our honeymoon and it’s safe to say we felt we entered paradise. Spela (the owner), her son and the staff are incredibly welcoming. They really take care of you and you can feel how much effort goes into giving back to the island and its community.
The lodges were beautiful and allowed you to fully embrace island living. The gardens are one of a kind and the food is all based on the local cuisine, making your Malagasy experience all the more authentic.
We stayed here for six nights and had support booking all of our excursions and travel to and from the airport. Also important to note, the excursions were with local guides that the lodge has built relationships with, you can really feel everyone is working their best to give you a peak Madagascar experience. We cannot recommend a stay here enough ❤️

We were sprach less. The highlight of our trip to Madagascar. After our trip from Sakalava to Nosy Be, Komba Cabana was the best, perfect and most welcoming happy ending.
The lodge is designed wonderfully with such a good taste and lot of beautiful details with shells.
The food is incredible, home-made and freshly prepared, they even had a lot of delicious things for my vegan sister. The location is magical. Nosy Komba is beautiful. The view is incredible and from the beach on the big rocks you have one of the best sunsets you will experience in Madagascar. We went diving as well so we had lots of things to do and lovely activities and nature to explore. 🐢🐠🤿
And finally, the hosting family, is so welcoming and friendly, we felt like home over there. Their warm hospitality is unforgettable, we talked for ages and it was so wonderful to share all the story’s and memories altogether, one of the most beautiful places in Madagascar! We hope to come back very soon and bring my dad this time to show him how wonderful this place is ! 🤞🏼🏝️ thank you for everything Ela 🙂

This is by far the best place to enjoy Madagascar! The owner is so lovely and together with the staff they welcome you warmly. So kind and friendly people. Very special place with amazing food. They took special care of me, as I am vegan. I really had the best food in Madagascar at that place. Besides that, the surrounding is stunning with the perfect sunsets in the evening! The owner takes so much care about all the plants and her garden, which is just amazing💚🦎🌱
You have a special place in our heart, Ela

A little paradise in Madagascar! We stayed in 8 hotels in Madagascar and this was by far the best of them all! We have rarely received such a hospitable welcome and the owners do everything to make you feel comfortable. But the employees are also extremely nice and polite.
Unfortunately, I had a small accident upon arrival (my fault) and I was immediately helped professionally and lovingly. I even got a free upgrade to a bungalow (we previously had glamping, which is also beautiful) so that I have my own bathroom. 100,000 thanks again for that! I know that this is not a given.
Everything is built with attention to detail and the food is the best we had on our tour.
We are really sad that we didn’t stay longer. Thank you for the wonderful time and only the best for you 🙂

We are a couple aged 21 and were looking for a nice hotel on Nosy Komba where we could relax but it was so much more! We arrived by boat and the first thing we saw were all the employees waiting for us on the beach, waving, waving, then putting homemade flower necklaces around us and welcoming us with welcome drinks. What a start in paradise!! The food is very well crafted and you can always choose between two starters and two main courses. There is always something for everyone! The breakfast is also very good because you have a lot to choose from, with everything from egg dishes, fresh fruit, muesli and bread with spreads. The hotel is located directly on a beautiful bay which is sometimes more or less full depending on the tide. There are enough sun loungers in sunny and shady places and another highlight is the natural pool that fills up at high tide. All in all, this family run hotel is definitely a must for anyone who wants to have a relaxing time on Nosy Komba.

A beautiful family run ecolodge to die for. We considered cancelling the next leg of our trip to stay longer.
We couldn’t ask for more.
Nature, food, respect, small business and community friendly, this was made for travelers who respect others and the world that comes before them.

One of the best stays I even had in my life! The place is managed by a wonderful family, so be sure to be very well taken care of. Water was for free. The hotel is very cosy, clean and quiet. Design is very well thought through. Exceptionally good service, great location, ocean is very clean with a small coral reef 20-30 meters away from the shore. There are also 3 sea turtles living somewhere around which you can see in the second half of a day. Food is always freshly cooked, fresh juices for breakfast, nice cutlery and decoration. I stayed just 2 nights but I wish I stayed longer. Highly recommended.

We originally booked 3 nights at Komba Cabana, but within 10 minutes of our arrival, we knew we would extend our stay if possible. We ended up staying 5 nights, and it was very hard to leave. Everything was perfect! The property is beautiful, the staff is kind and professional, and the hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food is freshly cooked daily and tailored to our needs.
We can 100% recommend this accommodation; it’s worth it in every way!!

Conservazione
